Life of Excellence

I guess the most memorable part of the lesson today for most people is the part where Mr Tan talked abt the article research in US that sleeping 4 hours or less and 8 hours of more leads to higher death rate.. haahhahahha i think i live a pretty long life then =b poor twin.. she sleeps 12 hours.. sighzzz

Anyway the article kinda concludes that it doesn't contribute to ur health if u sleep beyond 6.5 hours.. which means.. you can wake up earlier than usual to maximise the time you spend on earth.. In Summary:

EXCELLENCE IS
1) to be superior in QUALITY
2) greather in QUANTITY
3)TRANSCEND your job description
4) OUTDO yourself each time

IT's so true whether we are rich or poor, young or old, we are all given 24 hours a day... if so, why some people can achieve so much within a day and others struggle to accomplish the tasks given at hand.. indeed we should truly find a job of our passion or calling, but then again.. how many of us can get to do the ideal dream job we always wanted??

these 2 weeks made me realise how much i have to work on myself.. to become a better person..after all, we are all human. We may have difference job descriptions, but our life purpose is still the same.. You can afford to love yourself a little more by evaluating your life, stop being ambivalent, upgrade your skills and knowledge, as well as cutting away vices.. instead of focusing on others' grey issues in life and being judgemental..

Some of you might know what I am getting at but i really feel for a friend who's going through things that she need not really go through.. Isit really because of the Spiderman motto "With great power comes great responsibilty"? I seriously don't deny that but she kind of alerted me that i might want to go on stealth mode if some people have nothing better to do but to take this form of transparency for granted.

Was having supper at Breko's and we were talking about our industry, where we always have gossips and comments that so and so is very pretentious, a fake.. or whether is he/she acting out a personality and is totally not the true persona of who he/she really is.. but our conclusion is.. they just want to protect themselves from getting hurt.. cos most often those who are transparent would be hurt the most because devilious people would use it as a weapon against them...
