.......When we put ourselves in God's loving hands, He is more than capable of taking care of us. That does not mean that we will never get hurt, but it does mean that God is in control. He will heal any wounds or bruises we get in life, and He will also be our Vindicator.
...I have had to realize that when we get hurt, it is not always the other person's fault. Sometimes we need something they don't know how to give us, or we are expecting something they don't even know that we are expecting. We want people to understand us and our needs, but only Jesus can do that all the time.
Always remember that if you shut people out of your life due to fear of being hurt, you are hurting yourself through isolation and loneliness. God built us in such a way that we need relationships, and although they will never be perfect, they are worth the effort.
~~ Word of wisom from Joyce Meyer.....
was getting "hungry" so i googled joyce meyer... spent some time reading through her materials while "listening"...
am i really okay? really really okay?
I think i really got to learn how to manage my expectations like what belle says... having some me time is good afterall... i enjoyed shopping alone, running errands and trotting around from place to place working... and i am not alone anyway...(got 3 other "persons" ard me ALL the time... hehe F, S and HS)
" God built us in such a way that we need relationships, and although they will never be perfect, they are worth the effort" -- truly being more selfless is one of my goals too to wrap up this year.. or to start my 25th year... gosh....
Thank God for friends like Jace SQ and Uncle ... we may all be facing our own problems but really just hanging out together is preetty good for the soul... soul food like wat Jace says prevents us from burning out...
plus spiritual food.. the Word of God... though i can only attend one FOP session.. pretty looking forward to Dr Phil Pringle ... just hope those monkeys that only go there to attend praise and worship wouldn't be around to waste seats...
truly how we want to feel is a decision we make... just want a BALANCED life.. it sounds like a oxymoron.. but i want a simple, yet exciting life!!
